High-speed distribution system for fashion retailer Varner

Crisplant has been awarded a contract by Swisslog – a leading provider of automated intralogistics solutions for the retail and e-commerce industry – for the design and integration of a high-speed automated material handling system in Scandinavian fashion retailer Varner's new Central Distribution Centre in Vänersborg, Sweden, due to open in the summer of 2016.

All-rounders are sought for by the BEUMER service team in Rieste

In November 2012 Markus Petermeier had to face a huge task. Besides having to work in Rieste, 150 km away from BEUMER, and returning to his family for the week-ends only - he had to put together a highly competent service team, able to carry out the complete maintenance and repair service for the huge new technology park at adidas Group Central Distribution Center (CDC). Petermeier comments: "Right from the beginning, we had to ensure the proper functioning of the complete technology of the 50,000 m² logistic centre. All major customers, adidas shops and e-commerce customers in Europe are supplied from here. About 400,000 items leave the virtual counter every day".
