1. Collection and processing of http log data

When visiting our blog and each time a file is accessed, our web server collects log information (e.g., browser type, date and time of access) about these events. This is not personal data. Therefore, it is not possible for us to assign the collected data to a specific natural person.

All of this information is evaluated exclusively for the purpose of statistics. It is not passed on to third-parties. We do not link this data with other data. Additionally, the data are deleted at regular intervals within a week, after statistical evaluation.

2. Use of personal data

We collect personal data only when, and only in the scope, you provide us the data with your knowledge. In particular, these personal data are used for the purpose of advertising/marketing research, as well as for the design of our services, only when you have given us your express consent.

At all times, you have a right of withdrawal regarding previously given consent.

A declaration of the processing purposes is found at the corresponding places of our website and is not subject to subsequent changes. The data are transferred to third-parties without your consent only when we are legally obligated to do so.

3. Use of Google Analytics

Our blog uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service from Google. Google Analytics uses so-called cookies (small text files), that are saved on your computer and allow an analysis of how you use the website. The information generated by the cookies about your use of this homepage (including your IP address) is transferred to a Google server in the USA and saved there. Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the blog in order to prepare reports about the blog activity for the owners of the blog, and to provide other services connected with the use of the blog and the internet. Google will also provide this information to third-parties if necessary, provided it is prescribed by law, or if third-parties process these data on behalf of Google. Under no condition will Google associate your IP address with other data from Google. In light of the discussion about the use of analysis tools with complete IP addresses, please note that this blog uses Google Analytics with the extension "_anonymizeIp()" and, as a result, only abbreviated IP addresses are processed, in order to eliminate direct personal reference.
